Organizers promise free visas for Basovischa rock festival in Poland

The organizers of the traditional music festival Basovischa in eastern Poland plan to reach understanding with the Polish government over free visas for viewers from Belarus, Generation.by quotes Radek Dombrowski, the chairman of the Belarusian Students Association.  This year, Basovischa will take place on July 18-19 in the town of Grudek, near Bialystok. The following bands have already agreed to participate: Krama, 5set5 (Poland), Rima (Poland), Pomidor/off. Negotiations are under way with bands NRM, Zet, Krambambulia, WZ-Orkiestra, Palace, Neuro Dubel, Flit (Ukraine) and others.

If the organzers succeed to agree with the Polish side, visas for viewers will be free of charge. A special person will collect passports and take them for processing to the Polish consulate, thus, allowing people not to stand in long queues.
