In pictures: Potato planting goes as planned in Belarus during COVID19 pandemic

Villagers have shown up en mass on their gardens and fields in Palessie, southern Belarus to open the potato planting season. They have definitely heard about the novel coronavirus pandemic but only a few of them could be seen wearing protective masks. Neither COVID19 nor frequent night frosts could have disrupted the traditional potato planting schedule.
