Polish Senate Vice Speaker denied entrance to Belarus
Krzysztof Putra, the Vice Speaker of the Polish Senate on Friday was denied entrance to Belarus, Andrej Pachobut, an activist with the Union of Poles in Belarus told reporters.
Mr. Putra was scheduled to visit the western Belarusian city of Hrodna and meet with the activists of the Union of Poles in Belarus, he said. But, the Belarusian border guards detained him at the border and denied entrance into this country without giving any official explanation.
According to Pachobut, the union activists could not understand why Putra would be denied entrance to Belarus.
