President Decree No 3 to focus on saving, economy
The Belarus president Aliaksandr Lukashenka has ordered his office and
the office of the government to draft what has been named as Directive
No 3, devoted to the issue of saving as the priority for the country’s
national security. “While developing the policy, one must act
immediately and tactically. And we have already started doing so. But
the time shows that we are still acting at the level of swinging,
especially those who must address these issues.
They should act tactically at the enterprises. The accountability will be stringent. It will be set out in the directive, and the prime minister will bear a personal responsibility for that. There is no time for swinging.
The Council of Ministers together with the State Control Committee and others…must immediately develop a set of measures to ensure saving-based economy,” Lukashenka said.
