Pro-government youths guard graduation parties in Brest
Graduation parties took place on June 12 at schools in the Brest region. Apart from police officers, functions were guarded by members of the pro-governmental youth union BRSM.
The police said a total of 1200 policemen and 500 public and BRSM activists guarded the events. Alcohol sales were banned from 2p.m. In 2008, no crimes were committed during graduation parties.
