300 inhabitants of Smalyavichy District send appeal to Lukashenka
A two-hour protest action against the construction of Belarusian-Chinese industrial park was organized there yesterday.
Its participants (inhabitants of several villages and owners of summer houses) ask the state leader to stop the project which is dangerous for people and the ecology. They also draw his attention to the fact that airport “Misnk-2” is situated nearby - biological and chemical production may be dangerous as they will be situated very close to it.
Radio Liberty informs that the union of summer residents and villagers “Your hundred part” aimed at organizing the legal protection of the population was created at the meeting. The police did not interfere.
