5 thousand leaflets confiscated from Zmitser Shurhai detained in Brest
They contained appeals to boycott the election.
Let us remind you that the activist of the BCD steering committee was detained near the bus depot in Brest on September 13. Shurhai has informed BelaPAN that he was stopped by a policeman who checked his documents and asked him to show the contents of his package. A man in plain clothes accompanied the policeman. He left after Shurhai's detention.
The activist was delivered to Brest Lenin District Department of the Interior. No report was drawn up. The policemen informed that the leaflets had to undergo an expertise because they were suspected of containing appeals to overthrow the government.
