Andrzej Pochobut becomes journalist of the year in Poland
The reporter of Gazetа Wyborcza has scored the majority of votes in the survey conducted among the editors of Polish mass media.
Pochobut has received the award for his professionalism, promotion of international standards of work in mass media and preserving the canons of professional ethics. As Andrzej is unable to leave Belarus, his wife Aksana received the award, informs “Nasha Niva”.
Andrzej Pochobut was sentenced to three years of restriction of liberty and his sentence was suspended for two years for “slandering the President”. He is forbidden to leave the country.
