Azarenka to be fined for panic attack?
Well-known American tennis observer Matt Cronin has criticized the Belarusian's behaviour in the today's match.
Victoria Azarenka defeated American Sloan Stevens in the semi-final of the Australian Open — 6:1, 6:4. However, Vika had to ask for medical assistance when the score was 5:4. But returned and continued playing later.
"I understand that panic attacks are a serious thing and should not be ignored, – Pressball quotes Matt Cronin. – But there should be a punishment for them if they lead to pauses in matches." Azarenka should be fiend for summoning doctors for a reason other then an injury or illness, Cronin thinks.
Victoria Azarenka and Li Na will met in the Australian Open final on January 26.
