"Banana" dollars demonstrated in Vitsebsk (photo)
Collectioner Leanid Yalau organized an exhibition of... dollars, which were used or are used now in 25 countries of the world.
According to the information provided by "Ejednevnik", 190 rare exhibits may be seen in the Museum of Private Collections. For example, a million dollars bank note, which is legally printed in the United States, has degrees of protection but is not solvent. Or "banana" dollars, which were used in Malaya in 1940s and had images of palms and coconuts.
Two dollars bank notes are rare. Some people think that they bring luck.
Zimbabwe bank note - a trillon dollars, the paper on which it was printed soon became more expensive than the bank note.
