Belarus – unhappiest country in the world (infographics)
It has been registered by the special Misery Index. It is calculated by adding inflation to unemployment.
The index of misery was introduced in the 1970s by American economist Arthur Okun. In his opinion, ordinary citizens’ welfare is mostly struck by inflation and unemployment.
