"Belenergo": we had no explosion or fire
The repair works will continue in the power unit #1 until March 2013.
The unit transformer will be replaced, "Belenergo" told BelTA. It will be possible only in industrial conditions.
It was also noted again that there had been no explosions or fire at Minsk Thermal Power-Station #5.
Rumours about an explosion at the power station #5 appeared at the beginning of January. "Belenergo" officials informed that diesel oil had caught fire in one of the compartments of the gas-turbine installation PGU-400 made in China. But it happened on November 2. The turbine was disassembled and examined later.
