Court officials and "Vyasna" ousting (photo)
The human rights defense center lost its office due to confiscation.
Court officials came to the apartment which belonged to Ales Byalyatski and hosted office of "Vyasna" for 12 years on November 26. The human rights defenders managed to take the documents and things not recorded by the court officials away back on Friday.
The decision on the office confiscation was taken this July. HR defender Ales Byalyatski is serving punishment in the form of 4,5 years of imprisonment allegedly for the tax evasion. The court also sentenced Byalyatski to property confiscation.
