Opposition members detained by KGB several days before explosion
One activist has already been taken for interrogations to Minsk, facing "state treason" charges, unofficial sources report.
Andrei Haidukou from Navapolatsk was detained in Vitsebsk on November 8. Illya Bahdanau was detained in Polatsk later, coordinator of the steering committee of the BCD Party Tatstsyana Sevyarynets told Euroradio. Bahndanau has already been released (reportedly, he was taken to KGB prison and his flat was searched).
Tatstsyana Sevyarynets says:
"Haidukou is in Minsk KGB now. He is accused of a terrible thing - "state treason" (!). It seems to be connected with the Eastern Partnership... But it is only a rumour now."
Andrei Haidukou has already been indicted, Sevyarynets says. His lawyer is going to meet him in KGB prison today.
KGB has promised to comment on the news after 3 p.m.
An explosion occurred near the building of Vitsebsk KGB on November 11. Three people were detained in connection with it.
