Lukashenka: Belarusian people should elect new state leader by themselves
Alyaksandr Lukashenka gives an interview to Russia Today.
The journalist asked a
traditional question on a successor to the presidency.
"I swore I would never pass the power to my relatives, close people,
children or any other family members, - Lukashenka has said. - This is
out of the question. The most important, the one who wins the election in
Belarus will have the power after Lukashenka...".
Alyaksandr Lukashenka has confessed that he is not going to
support anyone at the election in public. "The people should elect the new
state leader by themselves, when the time comes", - Lukashenka has said.
