Lukashenka orders to pay $500 wages by end of year
He claimed it on May 3 when head of the Federation of Trade Unions Leanid Kozik was making a report.
According to Lukashenka, some heads of enterprises have started using his own statement: “if the work is efficient, the wages are good, if it isn’t, they aren’t”, reports BelTA. The state leader has claimed that it is necessary to increase the efficiency of work and the wages.
In his turn, the head of the official trade union expressed anxiety in connection with the fact that the growth of prices was often quicker than the growth of people’s income.
Let us remind you that the average wage totalled 500 dollars at the end of 2010. Many economists explain the financial crisis of 2011 by that unjustified increase of the wages.
