Lukashenka: salary will reach 500 USD by end of year
On Tuesday the state leader listened to the reports of the government and the National Bank about the economy in 2012 and the plans for the next year.
Besides, Lukashenka promised once again that the average salary will reach 500 USD by the end of the year:
"The
average salary grew till nearly 4 million roubles. This is a bit more than 470
USD. We will reach 500 USD by the end of the year for sure... However, we must
not forget that the growth of the salaries together with the growth of the work
efficiency remains the key principle of our activity. We should provide the
people an opportunity to earn money".
Let us remind you, the Belarusians should have had a 500 USD salary before the
presidential election-2010.
