Let us remind you that the explosion in Minsk metro station “October” occurred on April 11. It killed 15 people and 200 others were considered to be victims. The General Prosecutor’s Office announced that it had been a terrorist act the following day. Dzmitry Kanavalau and Uladzislau Kavalyou were accused of it.

Their trial started on September 15. The sentence was pronounced on November 30: both of them were sentenced to death. Kanavalau was returned guilty of preparation and execution of the terrorist act. Kavalyou was returned guilty of having helped Kanavalau and of not having informed about the terrorist act in advance.
