MEP: Polish authorities should find everyone who beat Belarusians
Marek Migalski addressed to Poland's Interior Minister Jacek Cichocki, Minister of Justice Jaroslaw Gowin and Warsaw President Hanna Grankiewicz Valz.
In his open letter, Migalski urges to find
and punish all the participants of the fight with Belarusians in Warsaw. The
letter was published at the politician's official page.
The
MEP notes that the most aggressive participants of the fight have not been
arrested yet. The Belarusians, who suffered, complain that the hooligans'
lawyers participate in their interrogations. Moreover, contacts between the
beaten Belarusians and their offenders happen in the Polish police corridors.
Let us remind you, a fight between the Polish hooligans and the Belarusians who
wanted to hold a football tournament happened at the football field in Warsaw
on August 12. The incident ended in broken nose of the Co-Director of the Belarusian
House Zmitser Barodka, and injured head and broken finger of the Charter'97
correspondent Ivan Mezhui. The hooligans also stole an expensive photo-camera
from the journalist.
