Minskers to ask Lukashenka not to build houses for special police troops
Inhabitants of microdistrict “Uruchie-2” have started collecting signatures to send an appeal to the President’s Administration, Council of Ministers and Minsk
City Executive Committee.
Minskers protest against “the compact planning” of the microdistrict and the construction of six new apartment houses two of which will be built for special police troops.
The issue has been pointed in connection with the city authorities’ plan to start building one of the houses this month. The press service of “European Prospect” helping the inhabitants of the microdistrict informs about it.
Minskers remind in their appeal that the density of population in the microdistrict is already higher than the norm and that it is impossible to build new apartment houses there. People also want to ask the state TV channels to give air time to representatives of their initiative group and apply for a meeting of protest.
