Minskers come to defense of man beaten by police
The incident has occurred at a bus stop near the “On Nyamiha” trade centre today, on May 25.
A witness of the incident, photographer Anton Matolka, has informed Euroradio about it on air.
According to him, a conductor revealed stowaways on a bus – students. A young man tried to come to their defense when they were being made to get off. A fight started and policemen made the young man get off and started beating him.
Minskers came to the defense of the young man. According to Matolka, about a hundred people gathered at the bus stop and on the staircase of “On Nyamiha”. All of them deterred the policemen.
