National Bank decreases refinance rate by 1%
Since July 18 it will be 31% per year instead of the previous 32%.
Decrease of the refinance rate is explained by the anti-inflation direction of the financial credit policy. The National Bank is sure that this step will allow "to guarantee not only reliable protection of savings in the Belarusian roubles from inflation, but also a considerable surpass of profitability of rouble deposits over the foreign currency ones".
As reminded by interfax.by, the National Bank decreased the refinance rate for the last time on June 20 - by 2%, till 32% per year. Before this, it happened back on May 16.
