OSCE observers meet CEC administration
No journalists were allowed at the meeting.
CEC secretary Mikalai Lazavik has informed BelaPAN that the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) was represented by head of the mission Antonio Milošoski, his deputy Donald Bison, election analyst Zoran Lucic and election department adviser Richard Lapkin.
The head of the EOM suggested meeting every week to discuss all issues. CEC chairperson Lidziya Yarmoshyna presented 12 election observer certificates to representatives of the mission.
On the whole, 36 long-term and 270 short-term observers are supposed to join the ODIHR mission. Representatives of the mission are going to give a press conference in Minsk on August 22.
