Palazhanka: Prize will be awarded regardless of Shyla’s detention
The prize “Love Belarus” founded by the Young Front will be awarded in Minsk PEN-centre today.
The main organizer of event, Ivan Shyla, was detained by special police troops a few hours before the ceremony. Nasta Palazhanka has informed Euroradio about it:
"We know that when he left the PEN-centre, a police mini bus approached the building. Members of special police troops jumped out and dragged him into the car”.
Palazhanka says that the ceremony will take place regardless of the fact that Ivan Shyla was the main organizer. Let us remind you that it will start at 5 p.m.
Meanwhile, members of special police troops keep watching the building.
