Poles disagree with pension reform law (Photo, audio)
The Polish Sejm adopted the law on the pension age increase (67 years for both men and women) on May 11.
Deputies of opposition parties “Law and Justice”, “Democratic Left Alliance” and “United Poland” voted contra. However, their votes were not enough to reject the pension reform.
Members of the trade union “Solidarity” are organizing protest actions near the Polish Sejm. They claim that they will not let MPs leave the building until they make a compromise.
The building of the Sejm is surrounded by the police.
