Polish population census reveals 47 thousand Belarusians
15 thousands consider themselves to be Belarusians and Poles at the same time.
The information has been published by the Polish Statistical Department during a demographic congress in Warsaw.
109 thousand inhabitants of Poland said that they were Germans, 48 thousands – Ukrainians, 16 thousands – Gypsies and 13 thousands – Russians.
By the way, according to the population census of 2002, 47.6 thousand people living in Poland claimed to be Belarusians, informs “Nasha Niva”.
