Posters of concert "Solidary with Belarus" censored in Warsaw (photo)
The Mayor's office of Warsaw disliked the sign "Poland to be the second Belarus on April 22".
In the end, the word "second" was pasted
over and changed for "solidary with Belarus". These posters have been
pasted all around Warsaw.
According to the
information provided by the Belarusian service of Polish radio for
foreigners, the authors of the poster say that they wanted
to show to the Poles that dictatorship was not something made up, but is real,
and exists right behind the Polish border. Apart from this, they motivated
their creative splash by arrival of the Belarusian celebrities "the
presence of whom will make Warsaw a second Belarus".
Let us remind you,
the concert "Solidary with Belarus" will take place in Warsaw on
Sunday, April 22. Polish and Belarusian musicians will sing there.
