Syarhei Astapchuk to be commemorated in HC “Himik-SKA”
The mourning ceremony will take place in Navapolatsk today, on September 8.
The 21-year-old hockey player who died in the plane crash near Yaroslavl yesterday was born in Navapolatsk. Astapchuk left the city at 15. His grandmother is his only relative still living in the city.
According to BelaPAN, the player’s protract will be installed in the building of HC “Himik-SKA”. Flowers will be laid and candles will be lit there.
