Tariffs for communal services go up
This will happen since January 1, 2013 as prescribed in the corresonding decree of the Belarusian government.
According to the information
provided by BelaPAN, tariffs for heating will increase by 5%, for
electricity - by 9,5%.
For a family of 3 people living in a typical two-bedroom flat the tariffs for
communal services will grow by Br 8900 (by 3,7%) and will
reach nearly Br 250 thousand (a little more than Br 167 thousand in Summer).
The previous increase of the tariffs for some communal services was on August
1, 2012.
