"Tell the Truth!" to propose up to thousand candidates for local elections
The campaign has given a press conference in Minsk today.
There is no sense refusing participation in local elections, leader of the campaign Uladzimir Nyaklyayeu said. The opposition made use of negative things during previous elections, he noted. "Tell the Truth!" would like to highlight positive changes in the country now, BelaPAN informs.
The local elections will be held in 2014.
"Tell the Truth!" has also decided to stop taking part in negotiations about the single opposition candidate for the presidential eletcion-2015. The democratic forces should create a common strategy first, Nyaklyayeu thinks.
