Terrorist act victim Inesa Krutaya undergoes operation on eye
People who care have helped her raise money for it.
The operation has been conducted in a private hospital in Minsk today: a fragment has been removed and the crystalline lens damaged in the metro blast has been replaced (the eyesight was almost lost). The operation cost 1500 dollars collected with the help of people who care in only a few weeks.
Let us remind you that Inesa Krutaya wrote on livejournal in mid June that she needed an urgent operation on her eye or she would become blind. According to the woman, the state hospital asked her to wait until autumn and the crystalline lens they offered did not suit her eye. The operation would have been free, but she would have to pay for the crystalline lens itself as much as in a private hospital.
Inesa Krutaya's eyesight has been saved now and she will be discharged from hospital tomorrow.
