Trial of ex-deputy head of Minsk City Executive Committee to continue today
Ihar Vasilyeu's trial will continue in Minsk Province Court on January 4.
Mikalai Ladutska's deputy tried to accept a bribe of $500 thousand from a Czech company for assistance in building a waste recycling plant near Minsk.
Ihar Vasilyeu claimed in court that he had experienced psychological pressure from KGB members on the day of his arrest and refused from his evidence. The defendant says that he did not think that the suitcase offered to him was filled with money - he thought that there was a representation souvenir inside.
The interrogation of witnesses will continue.
