Two Vitsebskers accused of terrorism in connection with blast
Andrei Shved, deputy Attorney General and head of the investigative group, has informed journalists about it today, on April 29.
According to him, they are accused of having committed a crime mentioned in the 3rd part of article 289 of the Criminal Code (“Terrorism”). They are accused of having committed a terrorist act after a preliminary agreement in order to destabilize the situation, intimidate the population and kill people.
One of the people accused of the terrorist act in the metro has also been accused of illegal arms traffic, informs BelaPAN.
Furthermore, Shved has informed that one of the suspects has also been accused of terrorism in connection with the blasts on September 14 and 22, 2005 in Vitsebsk and on the night of July 4, 2008 in Minsk. “By the way, the crimes were committed by one and the same person”, - said Shved.
