Russian Intelligence Service claims they do not spy against Belarus and other CIS member states
Russia is not spying against members of the Commonwealth of Independent States. The announcement was made by a former head of the Intelligence Service of Russia, the CIS executive secretary Sergei Lebedev. He referred to the agreement signed in 1993. According to it, CIS member states agreed on cooperation. It was restored in 2000. “The agreement is still in power”, claims Lebedev.
