Search for missing Ira Kuzhelnaya steps up in Lahoysk woods
Several hundred people are involved in the search for 7-year-old Ira Kuzhelnaya who went missing on November 23 in the Lahoysk district, but the effort has not brought any result yet, the Lahoysk Police Department told the European Radio for Belarus.
Police Academy cadets and soldiers from the military were also brought in to comb the woods.
The girl's mother was on November 29 arrested for three days. She is facing criminal charges of torturing her daughter. The woman was released yesterday.
