'The Seduction by Power' from Belarus's first prime minister
The House of Writers in Minsk on Sunday hosted a presentation of the book written by independent Belarus's first prime minister Vyachaslau Kebich. The book is titled "The Seduction by Power".
The 500-pages book has been published in 50,000 copies by the Minsk-based Paradox puiblishing agency.
Vyachaslau Kebich told the European Radio for Belarus that his focus was on the 1991 Belaya Vezha agreements (when the Soviet Union was officially dissolved), the first presidential elections and other political events in this country.
Vyachaslau Kebich: “I wrote very little about my own life. Mainly, I narrated about the developments that have unfolded around me since the collapse of the Soviet Union through today. That's why the book could be percieved as a political record, rather than memoires".
