Social milk gets 100% more expensive for a year!
Meanwhile, prices for the non-social potatoes grew by approximately a quarter.
Euroradio has found out that the list of
socially important goods was increased till 27 positions with regard to food
products only. Milk, bread, meat stayed in the list, while cucumbers, tomatoes,
apples, bananas, oranges and lemons, and even potatoes disappeared from the
list of the socially important goods.
According
to Euroradio's calculations, the prices for the "cheap social
products" increased twice and more only for a year!
"0.9 liters of milk with 3,7 % fat
now costs Br 5 400, while a liter of milk with 3,6 % fat was Br 2580 last
December", — they say in the department store
"Vitsebsk".
It
turns out that a liter of milk got twice more expensive for less than a year,
more than by 100%! The same is with bread. At present, 850 grams of rye bread
costs Br 5 450 in this department store, while last year it was possible to buy
two loafs of bread for this sum. Again, a 100% price increase. Social white
bread and kefir got more expensive approximately by 60-90% in comparison with
last year. As for the chickens, they got cheaper - the current price is
Br 24 550, while it was a little more than Br 25 000 back in 2011.
Besides,
Euroradio's friends in the social networks and Twitter named condoms as one of
the most socially important goods! Bread and milk got the second place, and
fruit wines got the third.
