Students forced to pay for dormitory for 2 months in advance
Students paying for their education in Hrodna State Medical University are being made to pay for the dormitory for 2 months in advance. Our reporter Syarhei Apanovich comes up with details:
“We have found out that the order was signed by the administration of the university. However, the chief accountant of the university Krystsina Savitskaya informed that “on the whole, the order concerned foreign students”.
According to Savitskaya, it was decided to make them pay in advance because they were “the main defaulters”. The chief accountant confirmed that other students would not be asked for front money.
However, students paying for their education consider the order about front money illegal and promise to fight for their rights”.
