Swine flu close to Belarusian border

The first swine flu case has been reported in Smolensk, a Russian city just across the Belarusian border, Interfax reported.



The woman has been hospitalized on her return from a trip to Thailand.

The Smolensk administration said it has taken precautions to prevent the disease from spreading.
