Territorial and district election committees to be formed today

Territorial and district election committees that will work at the parliamentary election will be formed in Belarus on June 27. The election is appointed for September 11.

There will be six regional committees and Minsk city territorial committee as well as 110 district committees. Most of them will be created in Minsk – 20. There will be 17 committees in Minsk and Homel Provinces, 16 – in Brest Province, 14 – in Vitsebsk Province and 13 – in Hrodna and Mahilyou Provinces.

The first meetings of territorial and district committees must be held within three days after their creation.

Committee members can be proposed until July 24.
