Two mass actions of democratic forces to take place in Minsk in spring
Democratic forces are planning to organize two mass actions in Minsk in spring. The decision was taken by the Political Council of the United Democratic Forces on Sunday.
Victar Ivashkevich, appointed head of the steering committee of organization of an action on the Day of Will by the Political Council, said in an interview with ERB:
“The Political Council supports organization of mass street actions on March 25 and April 26. The motto of former will be “For Independent Belarus!” and the latter will have ecological and social mottos”.
Let us remind you that the appeal for a meeting and manifestation dated for the 90th anniversary of establishment of Belarusian People’s Republic was sent by leaders of opposition parties and movements: Lyavon Barshcheuski, Anatol Lyabedzka, Alyaksandr Milinkevich, Mikalai Statkevich and Anatol Sidarevich.
Participants of the action on the Day of Will are supposed to gather at Yakub Kolas Square and proceed to Valadarski Street along Independence Avenue. Then they will walk along Haradski Val, Maxim Bahdanovich and Yanki Kupala Streets.
The Political Council urged all subjects of the United Democratic Forces to send their representatives to the steering committee on organization of the action on March 25.
