Two more suspects on mass disturbances case - Vinahradau and Navitski
The human rights center “Viasna” has found out that there are another two suspects on the mass disturbances criminal case - the activist of the "Tell the Trutrh!" campaign Paval Vinahradau and Andrej Sannikau's representative Leanid Navitski.
The apartment of the "Tell the Truth!" activist Paval Vinahradau was searched on the night on January 4-5. He rents this apartment together with his girlfriend. The search lasted till 5 a.m. and was conducted in the presence of the apartment's owner and neighbours by the investigator of the Pershamajski district department of internal affairs of Minsk Aliaksandr Fitser. Paval was delivered to the KGB office for an interrogation. Today it became known that Paval Vinahradau had been considered a suspect in the mass disturbances criminal case and put to the pre-trial detention center at Valadarski Street.
A representative of the presidential candidate Andrej Sannikau Leanid Navitski also has the status of a suspect in the criminal case on mass disturbances. According to the resolution, he is suspected in organization of mass disturbances. Leanid is now free and under a non-leave obligation.
