Youth activist stands trial for national flag at “Beatles-festival”

The trial of a youth activist Vital Izotau starts in Lahoisk today. He was detained at “The Beatles festival” last week-end. The young man hoisted a white-red-white flag there.
However, he is also threatened with criminal responsibility for his actions: his case has been sent to the Office of Public Prosecutor because the guy is accused of having beaten a policeman.
