The leader of the united democratic forces of Belarus is carrying out negotiations with the General Secretary of European Council Terry Davis and the President of Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly René van der Linden in Strasbourg.
The main topic of the negotiations is increasing the role of the European Council and PACE in the development of the internal political dialogue in Belarus. The issue of Europe’s help to the Belarusian civil community is also to be discussed.
Alyaksandr Mіlіnkevіch is also going to meet the administration of a PACE group Union of Liberals and Democrats for Europe today. Alyaksandr Mіlіnkevіch will take part in a meeting of the parliamentary committee on Belarus tomorrow (on April 17), reports Milinkevich’s press service.
