1351 people taken to hospital with overdosage last year in Belarus
31 of them died. The shocking statistics led to the new anti-drug decree.
A press conference dedicated to the presidential decree #6 was held in Minsk on January 14. Head of the drug and human trafficking prevention department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Vasil Losich has reported the statistics.
1351 people were taken to hospital with overdosage and 32 of them died in 2014. Over 100 people were spice addicts. There were less than 800 people like that in 2013.
The shocking numbers resulted in the adoption of the anti-drug decree, Losich said.
