16:13 Visa policy for Belarusian students may be simplified
Problems of transparency of European visas were discussed at the conference dedicated to the creation of a common European visa Code in Brussels.
The head of the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly René van der Linden proposed to simplify the procedure of getting a visa for Belarusian students.
According to him, it would lead to active student exchange between Belarus and European countries. The process of getting a visa should be “quick, effective and easy”, said van der Linden and suggested that visas should be abolished on the whole European continent in the future.
