African swine fever found in Vaukavysk District
A case of swine fever has been registered on the farm “Ros”, Danilauka village.
Workers brought the fever to the farm, volkovysk.by reports. They used straw from a field where a wild boar’s corpse was found.
The local veterinary station has confirmed the information to Euroradio but refused to comment on it.
According to some sources, the authorities have demanded that inhabitants of Vaukavysk District killed their pigs.
The first nidus of infection was also discovered in Hrodna Province.
