Aleg Korban arrested at home during birthday party
Police and KGB agents yesterday arrested 28 members of the unregistered youth organization Malady Front, who were holding a meeting at a private apartment. Another activist and a member of the United Civil Party, Aleg Korban, was arrested at home during his birthday celebrations.
The detainees were released by 2:00 a.m. However, the fate of Zmicier Khvedaruk is still unknown.
Aleg Korbun has been at the KGB prison, according to Jauhen Skrabatun, a Malady Front member.
"There is information that a criminal case has been opened against them on charges of taking part in the unregistered organization. But, I am not sure because it has not been officially confirmed," he said.
