Almost 7 million people to get on voting lists
The Central Election Commission has posted information that 6,995,181 people will get on this year's voting lists to take part in the Belarusian presidential elections.
Most voters are based in Minsk - 1.3 million. Minsk is the leader in terms of number of voters - 1.1 million voters. The smallest number of citizens on the voting lists will be in the Hrodna region - 778 thousand.
Outside of Belarus can vote 5,742 Belarusian citizens.
The total number of voters in the 2010 presidential elections was higher by 110 thousand and amounted to 7,105,660 people.
