Almost 800 thousand dollars stolen from Belarusian railway in Homel
Homel Soviet District court will consider a criminal case about a theft of 800 thousand dollars (1.7 billion roubles). It has been sent there by the General Office of the Public Prosecutor. “Interfax” reports that a number of employees of “Gloria S” limited liability company and of the local locomotive terminal are accused of the theft.
The General Office of the Public Prosecutor noted that these people concluded fictitious contracts about repairs of the hydrotransmission of diesel trains and appropriated big sums of money belonging to “Homel affiliate of Belarusian railway” in 2003-2006.
It is planned to make the accused return all the stolen money.
